#BeTrueToYou 157-day no makeup challenge #Day32
Stress. We are all guilty of it. And ofte , we have no idea how to get rid of it. Stress affects not only our health and ability to function, it can also have a negative impact on our hair and skin.
Stress often causes breakouts, red spots and excessive skin oiliness. If you are sleep deprived because you’re up at night worrying about work, life, the kids, it can cause puffy eyes and wrinkles. Stressing too much can also cause your hair to fall out.
It’s time to de-stress! Looking good is ultimately about feeling good.
Here are some easy tips on how to prevent the breakouts and fallouts caused by stress:
1. Get Plenty of Rest!
I know this difficult for many of us, but it is recommended that we get about 8 hours of sleep a night. It’s also a good idea to go to bed before 10:00pm at least one night a week.
2. Wash Your Face!
Find a facial cleanser that works and cleanse your skin every day, once after you wake up in the morning, and again before you go to bed.
3. Eat Your Veggies!
To keep the skin young, eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Ginseng tea also has an anti-stress effect.
4. Find Your Zen!
Practice stress reduction techniques such as deep breathing, yoga and meditation.
5. Go for a Stroll!
Another natural way to fight stress is to walk outside in the daylight at least 20 minutes every day.
